First Vlog (or not)!!!

So I'm here right now at Artistic Space Studio in Richmond hanging out with my friends who are currently filming a video about Toxic Slime (R2 and Kris Blade) with Audacious and Cliche. Its getting close and personal and we are all having tons of FUN!!! : D

Shooting videos are so much fun, especially when deciding on composition and thinking about all the different questions to ask. Can't wait to see the video all pieced together. My friend Sahar who is working on this project is telling me they have to go through about 5 hours of video and have to break it all down to 10 minutes! I'm sure they got a lot of great shots and lots to work with : )

It was unexpected but today I got to shoot my first VLOG!!! We had a really cool setup going on and all of a sudden I was like hey I should take advantage of this! After shooting Kris Blade spitting some awesome versus I borrowed him and asked him if he could give us some "ideas on writing songs."

He was able to share 5 tips with us and the ideas he gave were very true and funny!

I loved his first tip on singing in the shower, I myself love belting it out in the shower and some of the best inspiration comes while sudding it up! ; D

Anyways hope you guys enjoy the video and I hope it gave you some ideas or inspiration.

R2 and Kris Blade are currently free styling next to me on some beats, so I'm gonna jet and enjoy some of that good music!

UPDATE: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh noooooooooooooooooooooooo so at the studio I was trying to upload the video there on the spot, but somehow it was taking wayyyyyyy to long to upload it on Blogger and since it was my first time ever uploading a video I didn't know how long it would take. The shooting of the video was wrapping up and people were packing up and ready to go. I was still uploading on my friend's MacPro and I was like "ahhhhhhh 5 more minutes please" but 5 minutes turned into 10, so I decided to pull the plug on the upload and decided it was best to go home and do it. Oh and turns out you shouldn't upload directly from your memory card, you should copy and paste the file onto your computer first to quicken the upload process, lesson learned. So I'm home now and all happy to upload it and guess what???? My first VLOG is CORRUPTED!!!! Turns out when I cancelled the upload and pulled the SD card out of the laptop without safely removing it, I never ever thought it would corrupt my file : (
You hear about it, but you never think it will happen to you, so yeah lesson learned.

So remember to always safely remove your hardware, those few seconds can save your most precious moments!

I will be re-shooting the video the next time I see Kris Blade : D

My Very First Blog Yay!!! : D

Hey Everyone!!!

This is my very first blog and I am very very excited! I have been meaning to do this for a long time and I am going to have a lot of fun with it and I hope you will too! : D

I will be making my first post very soon. I'm thinking it will be a series of vlogs! Though I am very camera shy in real life (video wise) and sometimes find myself tripping on my tongue when trying to find the right words to say, I figure being in the safety of my own home/being able to edit them myself and knowing what to say would be SUPER FUNNNN and cooooooool!!! : ) Though I will probably still trip on my words ; P, but thats okay : D

I am a person who is always wondering about things and constantly thinking. I like talking with my friends alot and sharing ideas. With that said I thought it would be cool to post ideas with questions we seem to always ask like, "What would be an awesome gift to get my friend, gf or bf?"

Or even just fun ideas on... Writing a basic song, Planning that perfect trip, What to do in Vancouver on a sunny day, Cheap date ideas and the list goes on...

I will be finding and posting new, old and tried ideas as I try to get these vlogs up : D

I'm excited because I will be learning a lot with this myself!
